Shetland Aquaculture's General Manager, David Sandison attended the launch of The Code of Good Practice for Scottish Finfish Aquaculture on Wed 15th March 2006. The Code was presented to the Deputy Minister for Environmental and Rural Development, MSP's and key industry stakeholders at a reception at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh.

SSQC GETS SEPA APPROVAL

NEW NAME AND OFFICE BEARERS FOR SHETLAND SALMON FARMERS' ASSOCIATION

Shetland Salmon Farmers' Association elected a new chairman and vice-chairman at its recent Annual General Meeting. Michael Tait of Mainstream (Scotland) has been appointed chairman and Michael Stark of Hjaltland Seafarms Ltd has been appointed vice-chairman. At the meeting, it was agreed that the Association was to be renamed Shetland Aquaculture.
